The Unidentified Redhead (The Redhead)
The Unidentified Redhead is an absolutely hilarious glimpse into the world of showbiz wrapped up in a steamy romance. Grace Sheridan is a recent replant to L.A. She is in her early thirties, and hoping to make it as an actress… again. Bouncing back from failure her first go around—the depression, weight gain, and self-doubt are all gone and she’s ready to take Hollywood by storm. Little does she know, not only will she find success in her career, but in love as well. Jack Hamilton is in his mid-20s and is on the verge of becoming Hollywood’s next “big thing.” Now would be the worst time to start a relationship, as he is in the public eye and the object of many young women’s obsession. This has not only gone on my bookshelf as one of my favorite books this year, but one of my favorite books, period. It should be required reading for the 30+ set, because we see Grace deal with so many of the insecurities that we all face. It is a fast, easy read. The characters are well developed and the banter between Jack and Grace is laugh out loud funny. Definitely five stars!
