The Compleat Crow
Brian Lumley is a hugely popular author. He is considered to be a specialist in modern Lovecraftian horror, where man battles beats from beyond this world and dimension. His books have appeared in bestseller lists, and many of his works are still in print. With a wide appeal and one of his most popular characters, Titus Crow, it is rare to find a collection like this. This is a collection of short stories surrounding Titus Crow that were written over a long period of time, and have been published individually in separate collections and a few rare, and limited, collections. This is the first time that they have all been available under one, easy to afford, collection. We get to follow the exploits of the title character, as he examines the occult underworld of England, and London. From a clock that does not tell time, to his origin stories; what we get is a wide ranging gamut of occultist stories to horrify the soul.
There is no overarching theme of the book, each story can conceivably stand on its own, and many were published as one shots. But it does provide a rare glimpse to see a character change over time.
