Only True in Fairy Tales
Eloise no longer believes in intangibles, like love. It only exists in fairy tales. When Ross moves into the castle like house across the street, Eloise cuts off her wild imaginings that he could be a knight in shining armor compete with dashing good looks. She is suspicious of him from the moment she lays eyes on him but he keeps popping up at the right moment to come to her rescue which eventually wears her down and allows her to open herself to the possibility of him being what she always wanted. Even, Gracie, her retired greyhound, who distrusts all men, takes an instant liking to Ross which makes it easier for Eloise to give Ross a chance to prove he is different from her ex-husband.
Only True in Fairy Tales is a great feel good read. When you need a quick read to lift your spirits, look no further. The characters are comical and easy to love. Even though this is a short novella, it has the depth and development of a full length novel. A great read to help unwind after a stressful day.
