The Good Girls
Parker, Julie, Caitlin, Mackenzie, and Ava are back in this gripping finale to Sara Shepard’s The Perfectionists series. In the first book, these five girls were assigned to work together in a group in their film studies’ class. They found themselves discussing how they would murder a bully in their class whom they all hated fiercely: Nolan Hotchkiss. After following through with their plan to prank him at his own party, Nolan winds up dead. These girls become prime suspects in a murder investigation, and until they prove their innocence, they could be behind bars for a very long time. In the sequel, the five friends try to remember exactly what they said in film studies that day in order to nab the killer, but they soon realize that they each mentioned several others whom they wanted dead besides Nolan. When these other people are slowly being knocked off one by one, they have to do something fast before all of them wind up dead.
I recommend this book to older teens and adults because of its mature content. This was an emotionally intense mystery that I couldn’t put down! Fans of Sara Shepard are going to devour this one!
