Halloween Is Coming!

Halloween is coming soon! How do you prepare for Halloween? Do you go to the pumpkin patch? Corn maze? Pick out a costume? This delightful book covers all things that help prepare for Halloween.
The illustrations are the star of this book. They remind parents of the nostalgia of their childhood Halloween along with an update of showing a child with disabilities and children of all races. I loved the inclusion of hayrides, corn mazes, falling leaves, buying candy and the big festival at the end was just so much fun!

The writing was good. There were a couple of places that the rhythm or rhyme was not ideal. Overall, a job well done.

The connection I have to this book is that I remember doing as a child and now do with my children in October before the wonderful holiday of Halloween. It is a book I will enjoy pulling out to read to my children at the beginning of October to get us in the spirit of doing all those fun fall things. I highly recommend adding this one to your collection. I recommend this book for three to seven-year-olds.
