Bad Moon Rising is the latest in John Galligan’s highly entertaining Bad Axe County series. Sheriff Kick remains a character worth backing from start to finish; her fortitude and intelligence mark her as a powerful adversary to any criminal she stares down. Galligan succeeds in his latest mystery on all counts.
