Who is Jeb!!!: John Ellis “Jeb” Bush and His Horrendously Horrible Histories
With the elections just around the corner, all eyes are set on the American politicians and public as they choose who will lead the country. Inter-party candidacies are a tough choice to make, and party loyalties in the public are challenged. This year one of the nominees from the Republican Party was Jeb Bush, brother of President George W. Bush and son of George H.W. Bush. The Bush family has dominated the political field in America since the 1950’s and has been a significant contributor to the Republican Party. Many critics have thrown light on their lack of the political and academic expertise necessary to lead the country, and one of those critical books is Patrick Andendall’s Who is Jeb!!!: John Ellis “Jeb” Bush and his Horrendously Horrible Histories.
While mocking the Republican Party as “The Stupidparty,” the author initially talks about Jeb’s current status in the Republican Party as a presidential candidate. He then goes on to dissect the professional life of Jeb Bush, making him appear unsuited for the nomination. The author then divides the book in chapters, detailing every aspect of the life of Jeb Bush, alongside his brother, father, and grandfather. Every aspect of the Bush family is investigated, accounted for, and subsequently criticized, from their wealth to their affiliations in Ivy League colleges, the CIA, and the Armed Forces.
Mr. Andendall has done a remarkable job checking and rechecking the historical facts and figures that have been quoted, and excerpts from books and letters authenticate his work. He is genuinely interested in the well-being of the American people, and this book of his will help them make an informed choice on whom they wish to represent them. If you want to read a book along the lines of Stupid White Men with subtle hints of sarcasm, this book is for you.
