Leave Me: A Novel

Like the Energizer Bunny, Maribeth just keeps going. She is an editor at a fashion magazine, mother to four-year-old twins, and lucky wife to a radio DJ. The new friends that M.B. meets and her search for her biological mother move the story along quickly. Like Scary Mommy and other Internet mothers who embrace the fact that true motherhood is not all grape juice and white sofas, the story of Maribeth helps to alleviate the selfish feelings all busy mothers feel when they have that urge to just keep driving…and leave it all behind.
