Danger in Numbers
Danger in Numbers centers on an investigation into a cult in which women are being murdered and their faces carved up. Special Agent Amy Larson, who is with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, is on the case with her partner John. The FBI becomes involved and Amy finds herself working with Special Agent Hunter Forrest to solve the case. Sprinkled with information about events that happened in 1993, the story comes full circle and connects with the present day.
Danger in Numbers is an intricate story and as it progresses, the special agents find themselves in danger as they dig deeper and follow the clues to figure out who is behind the murders. I found the characters worked very well together and made smart decisions throughout the book. The investigation into a cult can be very scary, with evil characters lurking about. It was difficult to know whom to trust and who was telling the truth. I recommend this book to fans of Chevy Stevens and Jo Spain books.
If you’re looking for a great mystery to crack, then you will love Danger in Numbers.
