Each day begins with a ‘rock’ – a simple saying or thought for your attention that day. The book recommends reading it upon waking, then revisiting it at bedtime. Each thought is followed by an appropriate quotation and some words of expansion, explanation, and encouragement for how to implement this idea and why it might be important. The whole process doesn’t take more than a few minutes, but can certainly change your mental and emotional engagement in your life as you try to practice the idea.
