The Witch Who Came In From The Cold Season 2 Episode 1: “Awakening”
It seems that the word “awakening” has many meanings. The barge fire has awakened some of the Hosts that were being held frozen by the Ice Consortium. The moves of both Tanya in the KGB and Gabe in the CIA are being scrutinized as their respective bosses are awakened to what more each might know or how they can be useful. However, the awakening of a new and far more powerful force than the Fire or Ice Consortiums appears to be the most threatening to all. Gabe and Tanya are still with their respective partners, Josh and Nadia, with a trust that is not as solid as it was. Fire and Ice. Spring is coming and along with it a thaw that appears to have much in store for all.
The Witch Who Came In From the Cold has come back with a big bang in Season Two. Episode One, “Awakening” puts readers right in the middle of the action from the first page. Characters from Season One such as Gabe and Josh from the CIA as well as Nadia and Tanya from the KGB are back, along with the ever-present Fire and Ice members. If Episode One is any indication of how the rest of the season will continue, then readers can get ready to settle back into this magical serial that will keep them wanting more. With excellent, descriptive writing and continued in-depth characters along with a solidly paced storyline, Episode One: “Awakening” earns a solid five stars. Tune in next week for Episode Two in The Witch Who Came In From the Cold Season Two.
