The Witch Who Came in from the Cold – Episode 9
Intel Log: Episode 9 – Head Case
Bugs. A quintessential piece of every spy’s tool box, KGB included. Tanya and Nadia go undercover as maids to place bugs in hotel where a big event is being held. Dominic Alvarez and Gabe stop by the safe house and run down the plan for ANCHISES once it is put in motion. Gabe gets an unexpected visit from the golem on the roof of the safe house, which he is able to hide from Alvarez. Gabe appears to have control of his hitchhiker, but golem is playing by his own rules. Frank and Dominic decide to put Josh in charge of receiving Doctor Sokolov at the event tomorrow night and get him headed to the safe house–a job that boosts Josh’s confidence both professionally and also possibly in his personal life as well. Gabe turns to Jordan after his encounter with the golem, but it appears that Tanya is the one person he is going to need to help him the most and after seeing what Jordan has given him as protection Tanya is starting to realize it as well. Pieces appear to be falling into place. Whether or not that is a good thing has yet to show itself.
Characters float in and out of each episode, but the name of the game stays the same. Information is key, and trust is questionable. Episode 9 of The Witch Who Came In From the Cold has the KGB, Russians, and the CIA all preparing in their own unique way for an important event being held at a local hotel. The magical aspect of this episode focuses on Gabe, the hitchhiker, and the golem, as opposed to the Flame and Ice Consortiums. This episode also appears to have events, people, and agendas becoming clearer to various characters, and, as we near the end of Season One, I think we are in for a showdown of every side we have met thus far. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
