The Training: The Submissive Trilogy
The Training is the third and final book of the Submissive Trilogy. Nathaniel and Abigail have decided to move beyond the D/s relationship they had originally sought in order to become romantically involved in the traditional sense. After having lived together as boyfriend and girlfriend for the past few weeks, the two have decided to continue their D/s relationship with the training of Abigail as a submissive. The two will maintain a traditional relationship during the week, and on weekends, Abigail will be collared and live as Nathaniel’s submissive. The Training, and the epilogue in particular, is a fitting end to this series, as it shows us that the D/s relationship can easily be seen as “normal”, and can work within the boundaries of a committed relationship without being seen as deviant. The Trainingis a five star read. It is well paced and a very easy read. The author expertly captures the love and trust between Nathaniel and Abigail and presents the D/s relationship in a positive, loving light. While this type of relationship is not acceptable to everyone, it is easy to see that the relationship between the two is rooted in nothing but mutual respect and consent.
