The Three Locks (A Sherlock Holmes Adventure) (Book 4)
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are back in action. The Three Locks is the next installment in the Sherlock Holmes Adventure series, and it ranks up there with the best. The story begins on a hell-worthy hot day. Watson hasn’t seen Holmes in a while, which is not uncommon for such an eccentric man. The postman comes and delivers a package to Watson that contains more questions than answers to a childhood tragedy. In steps Holmes, he believes it should be left alone – but how can Watson follow such advice when it could keep him from long-awaited closure?! What neither of them realizes are the dangers and traps that await them involving magic and escape artists.
Macbird has kept the beloved Sherlock and Watson authentic to Sir Doyle’s original creation. The story is well-written; as the reader, I found myself immersed in the book, understanding the feelings and situations of the characters. I found the book mysterious and suspenseful. The length of the story allows for all of its positive characteristics to shine! Fans of Holmes and Watson will thoroughly enjoy their next adventure in The Three Locks!
