The Santa Suit is a whimsical tale as expected by renowned author Mary Kay Andrews. Reminiscent of a Hallmark or Lifetime Christmas movie, The Santa Suit follows newly divorcee Ivy Perkins as she rebuilds her life in a small town by purchasing a farmhouse that needs some fixin’ up. Ivy’s real estate turns out to be a hunk named Ezra and although she pushes him away in the beginning by declining his help in fixing up the place, Ezra soon becomes a permanent fixture as he helps her figure out the ins and outs of the farmhouse such as how to turn the heat and hot water on. Ivy really ends up making herself at home as she finds an old Santa suit which was worn by the last occupant. In the pocket, there is a letter from a little girl named Carlette asking for her daddy to come home from the Vietnam War.
