The Lonely Hearts Trivia Night: A Novel

The Lonely Hearts Trivia Night is a book about five individuals who each have their reason for joining a pub trivia club. Bryony is a stay-at-home-mom who is just looking for a little fun and to make friends. Harry is getting over a big heartbreak. Luke and Jaime are a young couple. Jaime drags Luke to the pub trivia group even though he doesn’t want to go. And Donna, the person responsible for placing an ad to find teammates for the club, is a hot mess.

I absolutely loved how each chapter started out with a trivia question. The characters each have their own lives but then they find that the bond between all of them gets closer as they work as a team. Some of the book could be looked upon as depressing, however these are mainly relationship issues that need to be ironed out. With the help of friends, anything is possible.

A little humor, a little seriousness, and a little naughtiness, The Lonely Hearts Trivia Night is a realistic and engaging book that readers will adore.
