Sophia Kaur is a self-described lazy girl when it comes to the kitchen. She is a social media influencer in the cooking area, and consequently, she is too busy to spend any more time cooking and cleaning than necessary. This book with sixty low-stress recipes is an answer for busy people who need to curtail kitchen time.

It has five sections — when… you want to use the fewest ingredients, when… you want to be healthy, when…you haven’t gone grocery shopping, when…you haven’t done the dishes, and when…you want it to look like it took a lot of effort. Some of those categories are a little misleading. The fewest ingredients category has some recipes with as few as eight ingredients, but most have over a dozen.

That said, do not miss the Crab Bake Fondue. Yum! Every recipe has an introductory paragraph telling how she came to include it, a good ingredient list with both standard and metric measurements, excellent written instructions, and a mouthwatering photo. What it doesn’t have is any calorie counts or other nutritional information. But with recipes like Basil Chicken Potato Hash and Deviled Egg Pasta, this is a great addition to any kitchen.
