The Deluge is a massive tome that transcends the epic storytelling of a novel. Author Stephen Markley (Ohio) has written an engaging multi-perspective character study taking place over three decades and through ever-worsening cataclysms. Each protagonist featured possesses a charismatic streak that makes them sympathetic and interesting, even in the worst circumstances. Markley’s writing is exemplary, his story is breathtaking in its scope and impact.
