The Body Next Door: A Novel

Hannah’s perfectly crafted life is starting to unravel. The body of a young woman has been found on the property next to their vacation home on Orcas Island. The past comes knocking when The Body Next Door is revealed to be someone from the Kinfolk cult that existed on the island a decade before. Secrets will be exposed that people close to Hannah have been keeping for years, as well as Hannah’s own. But just maybe, this whole nightmare can come to an end and Hannah can finally know the truth and be set free. ||It was hard not to love this book just because it mentions places near where I live and visit often, but the story is also interesting and full of twists and turns. I enjoyed it, especially the Greene’s story. I thought the author did a wonderful job making each character distinct, making their point of view seem authentic. She also seamlessly transitioned between past and present and different points of view without any confusion but keeping the story alive. I don’t know what to compare it to, but I highly recommend you check out this exciting thriller.
