If you’d like another interpretation of today’s politics, something to chuckle at and just a good yarn, consider The Accidental Further Adventures of the 100-Year-Old Man.

The sequel to New York Times bestseller and movie, The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, the story opens almost a year after the first story left off. Allan, age one hundred, and sidekick Julius, a younger age sixty-six, are about to run out of money. They embark on a hot air balloon ride and take off for parts unknown. When their balloon lands in the sea and their options seem bleak, they are rescued by a North Korean ship carrying secret cargo and they are off to high adventures with Kim Jung-un. But Allan had visited North Korea before and knew a thing or two about creating atomic bombs and pretends to be helpful to the Supreme Leader’s goals. Appearing to be a friendly bumbler, he’s ever so observant and talks himself past Kim Jun-un’s high-security surveillance and ends up in the USA, meeting President Trump. He doesn’t like this funny man Trump and challenges him, which so many readers will wish they could do!

Encountering several of today’s top officials in several countries, who all have an opinion about President Trump, along with following several subplots, the story keeps the pages turning. A fun read.
