Teen Killers in Love

Signal and Erik are on the run from the group that took them from jail to train them into teenage killers, all based on a psychological profile that identifies them as Class As, the most dangerous of the personalities. With their kill switches dismantled, they know they are the only ones who can stop the program and potentially save their friends from a life of servitude with questionable motives.

The media circus around their escape doesn’t help things either. Signal can’t ignore her growing crush on Erik, who is playing his own game with her heart. As Signal and Erik try to help the original Teen Killers Club, disheartening news comes from the compound, news that may force them to realize how little they can do to help the ones they love and stop this disastrous crusade.

The first book in the series was a downhill roller-coaster, momentum building quickly until the sudden ending. This sequel is a slow, tense burn to a thousand little flares until ending with an explosion. Signal’s angst may annoy some, but it’s part of what makes the conclusion that much sweeter. A perfect series for fans of Jennifer Lynn Barnes and Allen Zadoff.
