Tank Girl: Tank Girl All Stars

Tank Girl is like a brilliant, tacky Saturday morning cartoon for those kids your mom didn’t want you hanging out with – she smokes, she drinks, she wears skimpy clothing, and she blows shit up.

In honor of her thirtieth birthday, Titan Comics has been pumping out a whole slew of Tank Girl books, collecting stories old and new. As expected (at least by old fans like me), this is a boon. Tank Girl All Stars is no exception.

The bulk of the book is comprised of a four-parter called “Time for Tank Girl”, a nice little tale wherein our heroine and the gang take on a zombie horde. The rest of the book, in good ol’ Tank Girl fashion, is made up of short goofs like “Salon Tank Girl”, a four-page bit rehashing old junk.

If you’re already on the bandwagon, you’ll dig this book. And if you’re not on the bandwagon, all I can say is this – start enjoying your life.
