Stalking Around the Christmas Tree (A Christmas Tree Farm Mystery)

Stalking Around the Christmas Tree is a light, cozy mystery that involves small-town family and friends, and of course, murder. Holly White and her fiancee are on their way to their wedding day. Evan is the town sheriff and he finds that he has plenty on his hands when the lead ballerina in the local production of The Nutcracker dies during a parade. She finds out that Tiffany, the ballerina, was poisoned with cyanide in her protein smoothie. As Holly helps to figure out whodunnit, all sorts of things happen. On top of that, Evan’s sister, Libby may have a stalker who wants to harm her.

This book is the perfect book to cozy up with on a cold winter day. I haven’t read any other books from this series but Stalking Around the Christmas Tree does well as a standalone read. Holly is sweet, curious, and tenacious as she investigates a mysterious ballet blogger, The Mouse King, and the show’s choreographer. This is a fun, easy read for those who love a good Christmastime mystery.
