Smart Pop Explains Harry Potter Books and Movies
Harry Potter and the wizarding world has taken our muggle world by storm since the release of “the Sorcerers Stone” back in 1998, nearly fourteen years to the date. It is easy to see the enticement from the books, and when the movies were released, they opened up a new generation of followers, but with each passing year, there are new and continuous people who don’t know of this magical escape from reality.
Smart Pop Explains Harry Potter Books and Movies breaks down the characters and situations from the books for both the lay reader and expert. Topics discussed include who Harry Potter even is, the other major and minor characters, Hogwarts and the classes, Quidditch, Diagon Alley, and the Forbidden Forest, among much more. The format is over two hundred pages of questions and information, both informative and to answer pondering thoughts. I consider myself in the middle between die-hards and newbies and appreciated the refresher course for the extensive amount of parts related to the series. The book can be read at a leisurely pace when the questions pop in your head or quickly if you’re cramming to appear most knowledgeable among peers or for trivia night.
