Trying to get fit and be healthy? Tired of know-it-all fitness gurus? Pumping Irony is a refreshing look at losing weight and gaining muscle in a way that works for each person. Andrew Ginsburg writes in an informal and hilarious way, putting forth reasonable and attainable exercise and eating programs. He addresses more than just exercise and eating, he addresses the reasons why we struggle with too much weight and not enough exercise. His book is easy to read, and his sometimes sarcastic humor is refreshing. Although he does throw out a few food groups that I would disagree are forbidden (milk?!), I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a real take on exercise and eating. His methods are solid, not espousing any crazy new trend but instead utilizing hard work and conscientious eating.
