As a lover of all things Disney, reading this book tapped right into my own feelings about the parks, the nostalgia, the experiences, and the cast members. He shows you what it’s like working in the world-famous park without ruining the magic. Also, he explains how the happiest place on Earth can still foster memories and relationships, even for those behind the counter. It’s wonderful to see how Disney has influenced his own choices in life and made him the person he is today.

Edwards’s writing is magical; he was able to pull me in and place me right on Main Street. Building the world right around me. I’ve never stopped at the Magic Shop, makes me wish I had. Despite the fact the pixie dust wore off eventually for him, it still has a happy ending. This is a great book for anyone who wants to peek behind the curtain without ruining the magic of Disney.
