Noodle Worship: Easy Recipes for All the Dishes You Crave from Asian, Italian and American Cuisines
With these recipes for quick, comforting, satisfying dishes, you’ll spend more time deciding between them than putting one together. Refrigerated ravioli made preparation of the Fried Ravioli a breeze, and the crunchy, cheesy texture was a total hit. The Chunky Marina was a lovely accompaniment, both on the ravioli and as a topping for crusty bread. The Spinach Alfredo Radiatori is simple but rich and indulgent. The sauce for this is quite thick, but next time I will just thin it with more pasta water, as suggested.
Many of the recipes use things you probably already have on hand, like the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, which only has six ingredients (including the pasta). The recipes go beyond Italian; they include Asian-Inspired dishes and Baked Pasta, and even some Soups and Salads, as well as Comfort food from the American South and Southwest. We loved the fresh, bright flavor of the Avocado Penne, which was surprisingly unique and didn’t even require cooking the sauce.
Delicious photos accompany each dish, the instructions are clear and simple, and the ingredient lists are clean and easy to read. This book is a must for busy households that need good food fast without losing flavor or satisfaction.
