Nine-to-Five Fantasies: Tales of Sex on the Job
Jobs play a surprisingly large role in fantasizing. (Not those kinds of jobs.) Sometimes it’s a pleasant daydream about someone you work with, or a delectable stranger in uniform. Maybe you even find the profession as sexy as the person. But, whether it’s a new acquaintance, or someone you’ve known for years, what they do and where can play a huge part in attraction.
Nine-to-Five Fantasies runs the gamut, featuring everything from construction workers and cowboys, to chefs and pool cleaners, IT guys and mechanics, and artists and professors. Heck, there’s even an ice-cream guy and a sultry limo driver with a penchant for threesomes. Whatever your flavor, you’re bound to find a short story in this collection to light your fire.
My only issue with the collection is how short some of the stories are. A sense of urgency is all well and good, obviously, but more than a few of these authors should take a little time, both during and after, to let both the reader and characters enjoy the rhythm of each story. That being said, there are some dynamite moments in this book, and anyone with an occupation fixation is sure to enjoy.
