Never Kiss a Duke: A Hazards of Dukes Novel
Kissing a duke, or even a fake duke, can be dangerous. That is the lesson Ivy learns when she employs the former Duke of Hasford, Sebastian. One day Sebastian finds out that he is really not a Duke and that his brother is the rightful Duke of Hasford. Now Sebastian has nothing but the clothes on his back and must search for a job, something that he has never contemplated before. He walks into the gambling den owned by Ivy, who is hiding her own secrets but keeps them close to her chest. She employs Sebastian to do jobs for her that she can’t do. Immediately, she feels an attraction to Sebastian that she has never felt before, and struggles to put into words.
With most romance novels, you kind of expect the protagonists to be on and off with each other throughout the book depending on what the plot demands, with enough scintillating action to keep things hot in the bedroom. Sadly, this book waits to have that action happen until the final few pages, leaving the reader wondering what took them so long if they felt something from the beginning.
