More Confessions of a Trauma Junkie: My Life as a Nurse Paramedic, 2nd Ed.
When I picked up More Confessions of a Trauma Junkie: My Life as a Nurse Paramedic, I was really excited to read real-life stories told by a nurse paramedic. The daily activities performed by our first responders are unlike those required by any other job out there.
The book fell a bit short on interesting stories, however, and a lot of it was Sherry telling the reader about her thought process while making decisions concerning various patients. I know that when writing the book she was very conscious of making it appeal all ages so there were no swear words included in it, which I completely understand, but there was also very little in terms of anything else.
There are a few chuckles in the book and some interesting background on the author and her family, but other than that, the only story that resonated with me was the one in which her dog died, which was really sad. Aside from that, the book was not organized very well. Unfortunately, I was bored and disappointed with this book.
