Midwinter Murder: Fireside Tales from the Queen of Mystery
Grab your blanket and your cocoa and settle in a comfy chair for some Midwinter Murder. Twelve short stories by the most widely published author of all time, Agatha Christie, including Three Blind Mice, which under the name The Mousetrap is the longest-running play in the history of London’s West End only discontinuing because of the pandemic. This collection also includes the original version of Christmas Adventure, which has never before been released in the United States. This assortment contains all your favorite characters: Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence, and Mr. Quin. There are murders and robberies, mysterious guests, and classic whodunits, all centered around winter and Christmas time.
I absolutely adore Agatha Christie and getting to read her books for free is a Christmas gift all unto itself. I have been working on updating my collection of her books and this was the perfect addition. If you, or anyone you know, is a Christie fan, you will definitely want to add this to your gift list. Three Blind Mice is such a classic and always fun to read. Poirot is probably my favorite, so I always enjoy reading stories that include him. I don’t think Tommy and Tuppence get enough hype, they really are a great couple to read about as they solve the crime together. I highly recommend this book and especially read it next to the fireplace, or a YouTube channel of one, as it adds to the ambiance!
