Lupin Leaps In: A Breaking Cat News Adventure

Lupin, Elvis, and Puck are cats who are news reporters for CN News. They are reporting on different stories about stuff that’s happening in the apartment, upstairs, and out the window. In one of the stories, the cats try to figure out why water from people’s drinking glasses tastes so much better that from cat dishes. Then, one of them gets the glass stuck on his face. In another one of them, the owners are trying to have a romantic dinner, but the cats keep messing it up. Puck wants to eat the steak, Elvis likes smelling the flowers, and Lupin wants to bat at the candle. The owners think the cats are ruining it, but the cats think this is awesome! This comic-strip style book is so funny. It’s from the cats’ perspective, and they don’t understand some things. For example, they don’t know what a cat play tower or a Christmas tree is, and they think a bird feeder is a bird magnet. There are so many stories in this book, and each one is a news story with the cats reporting. In one story about a mysterious lump, one cat is reporting from on top of the blanket and another is under the blanket. They both think the other one is the lump. I loved this book. Cats are one of my favorite animals, and the stories are so funny!
