Love’s in Sight!, Vol. 2
Bad boy Morio and vision-impaired Yukiko’s love story continues in Volume 2 of Love’s In Sight. They finally admit to one another their true feelings for each other. The only problem is Hachiko is also in love with Morio. Will Hachiko’s jealousy get in the way of Yukiko and Mario’s budding romance?
I was not able to read Volume 1 prior to reviewing this book, so I don’t really know how Morio and Yukiko’s love story all started. I really like Yukiko’s character because she’s spunky, she speaks her mind, and she doesn’t care what other people think. I’m not a particular fan of certain Shojo mangas where the female protagonist is so weak and meek that I find her really annoying. Not Yukiko, thankfully, so it made this manga more enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by Shishio and Hanao’s story. As for the illustrations, I really like the art style, and I like Yukiko’s various funny expressions. Even the cover art is hilarious, fun, and cute. I love how it’s not your typical Shojo cover art where the guy/girl look longingly at each other. I recommend this series to rom-com enthusiasts.
