Lead: A Stage Dive Novel
Jimmy Ferris is the lead singer of Stage Dive and a former addict. Keeping him sober has been the goal of the group but in an attempt to regain their own lives, they hire a sober living coach to stay with him at all keeping him on the straight and narrow; enter Lena. Lena is quiet and assuming, until given a reason to become a spitfire. It is that tenacity that gets Lena hired for the job. She’s not willing to back down to Jimmy, taking his continued abuse as he tries to get her to quit. Soon though, Jimmy falls victim to Lena’s charms. Will Lena keep him sober, while breaking through his tough exterior? Will they find there is more to their relationship than they were bargaining for?
Once again Kylie Scott has hit it out of the park. She has taken the rock star trope a step further and created a love story that is not only hot, but tender as well. The characters are well crafted and you’ll easily fall in love with the anti-hero David and tough as nails Lena. Lead will leave you feeling good and believing in second chances.
