Lazy Crafternoon
Lazy Crafternoon is a craft book for tweens and teens with some fun and cool ideas for DIY activities. It explains that a crafternoon is a time for friends to get together and make things. The book itself is gorgeous, with multiple full-color photos on every page. Projects are sorted into categories such as accessories, decorations, school supplies, celebrations, and food and drink.
The beginning of the book not only defines a crafternoon, but it gives ideas for hosting such an event with friends. Next comes a very helpful section on craft supplies. There is a full page write-up for decoupage glue, washi tape, and needle and thread. For these items, it lists a paragraph on how to use the item, where to find them, and an approximate cost.
Each project lists supplies, has a step-by-step list of instructions complete with photo references, and a nice photo of the finished product. Also, you will find projects in here that aren’t in every other craft book, including essential oil diffuser necklaces, faux stained glass, a paint-chip birdhouse, glitter balloons, and salads on a stick.
Overall, an appealing book for young crafters and DIYers.
