Just SNOW Already!

A young boy is told by his Dad that it might snow that day. He runs and checks outside. It’s cold, but it isn’t snowing yet. When he looks outside, the readers see the entire block around his house, but the boy doesn’t seem to notice anything except that it isn’t snowing yet. All he can think about is snow and how he will build a snowman and go sledding down the big hill and make snow angels. It just has to snow! He asks his mom to make it snow, but she says he will just have to be patient. But he’s not very patient. He checks outside the door and looks out the window all day long, but he is BORED and there is nothing going on. Except the readers can all see that there is a whole lot going on!

Howard McWilliam has written a truly funny story that shows he is in touch with his inner child, the one who can’t wait for it to snow. But the real joy of the book is McWilliam’s super fun illustrations that tell the real story of what is going on. Kids will ask for this over and over.
