While confronting the Joker, something went wrong. Batman fell into a vat of acid and reverted to infancy. Helpless, Baby Batman needed to be raised again to be the symbol of justice. The Joker reluctantly takes on that task, caring for, teaching, and training the young Bruce to be the same Batman that Gotham City needs. Can the Joker raise the young Cape Crusader, or will his experiment fail?

Joker: One Operation Joker Volume 3 published by DC Comics is the latest work by the team of Satoshi Miyagawa and Keisuke Gotou. This manga-style graphic novel is the third book in a series. Even though it is a fun and uplifting read, the story makes more sense when read in order with the other two books. Batman comics originated in 1939. Since then, every new creative team has put their own spin on the stories. That holds true for this manga comic. Parents will get a kick out of Miyagawa’s story of raising a child with all its struggles and triumphs through the lens of The Joker. Gotou’s artwork is a brilliant blend of the Japanese style of storytelling combined with characters every Batman fan knows and loves. This is an excellent book for the whole family of Batman fans.
