It’s MY Sausage

It’s MY Sausage is a comical book of five cats and a sausage. Who knew that cats liked sausage enough to fight over it? The stingy cats all want the sausage for themselves, and they will do just about anything to get the sausage from their friends. The cats try disguises, distracting one another, even yarn tricks to lower themselves into the perfect position to secretly steal the sausage. The cats are very creative in using yarn to build traps for their friends. Ultimately, there are consequences to be selfish, and none of the cats get to eat the sausage. If only they had shared, they would have all gotten a small piece. Instead, the cats have to eat their vegetables. I liked the hilarious illustrations in the book. The illustrations perfectly represented how mischievous cats really are. This book helps one to understand why it is so important to look out for friends, share with and be kind to them. This book is one I could read over and over because the illustrations make me laugh!
