Her Every Fear: A Novel
Kate Priddy is a young woman haunted by a trauma that nearly killed her. She takes an opportunity to swap apartments with a distant relation and visit a foreign land. Kate moves into her cousin’s abode in Boston, hoping to explore her love of design while stomping out ghosts of her past. A murder in her apartment building turns her plans upside down. Kate’s curiosity is piqued by the proximity of the murder and her meeting of a couple of gentlemen who claim to know the murder victim. As time goes on, she begins to suspect her cousin Corbin as the murderer, her mind seems to be playing tricks on her, and the terror has returned to her life. Will she be able to get answers before she becomes a victim?
Peter Swanson’s third thriller cracks to life in the opening pages. His characters are engaging, and the reader is treated to multiple points of view in this mystery. The payoff for the reader is an excellent whodunit with a magical appeal for the mystery thriller lover.
