For the Duke’s Eyes Only: School for Dukes
India and Daniel are best friends as well as betrothed when they come of age. They have the best of friendship until the day everything changes. Now, years later, the two are each other’s enemies. But there may be more to the story than meets the eye. Historical romance is fast becoming a favorite of mine—mainly because I like seeing characters navigate in such a conservative time. Indy was a heroine I rooted for the very beginning. She’s intelligent, independent, goes after she wants, and doesn’t worry about consequences. Much. Raven, now the Duke of Ravenwood, is part of a group that hunts prized and regal possessions that belong in museums. After the two find that a certain artifact is in fact a fake, they start on a journey to uncover what happened to it. It was truly a gift watching these two try to fight their obvious love for each other. As readers, we know from the very beginning when two characters belong together. For the Duke’s Eyes Only is very romantic and fun. I think historical romance fans will devour this up in no time. Who doesn’t love the love/hate relationship trope? After all, they say there’s a fine line between love and hate.
