I would have given Dutch Oven Dinners: A Cookbook for Flavorful Meals Made in Your Favorite Pot five stars if they had included a section on desserts with all of the savory contributions it seems a shame to not include some sweet dishes as well…if for nothing else to further show the versatility of the dutch oven.

The book is really well laid out covering a variety of topics from thirty-minute dinners to eight ingredient showstoppers to side dishes. The pictures of the dishes included in the book are mouth-watering…it is literally the reason I made the author’s butter chicken as my first dish in my dutch oven. The steps in Dutch Oven Dinners: A Cookbook for Flavorful Meals Made in Your Favorite Pot are easy to follow and include well-written explanations of each step and there are even substitution suggestions or suggestions of items to serve with the dish…which is very helpful.

Overall I have really enjoyed this cookbook and I can see that it will easily become a go-to for family meals every week.
