Doc McStuffins A Very McStuffins Christmas
Doc McStuffins is called upon again to save the day by patching a broken toy. The twist—the parts to make the perfect toy for Donny operational are in the North Pole. Magicked to Santa’s toy shop, McStuffins works with her cast of helpers and Santa’s Elf in a race against time to get the toy under the tree by morning.
Doc McStuffins: A Very McStuffins Christmas is a merry treat, with over 50 stickers to delight young readers. While none of the Doc McStuffins books quite seem to capture the interactive magic of the television show, this book does captures the typical highlights of teamwork, problem solving, and the magic of belief. The book level is 3 to 5. However, as a book meant to be read to a child, the story is long and lacks the energy to maintain the attention of a 3 to 5 year old. As a sticker book, its better suited to first to third graders. While I am a fan of Doc McStuffins, Disney missed the mark here: This book has extremely limited mileage. Unless your little one is a diehard fan of McStuffins, I would skip this stocking stuffer.
