Deep (A Stage Dive Novel)
In this final installment of the Stage Dive series, Ben and Lizzie must face the consequences of their one night together in Vegas, a night that never should have happened if Lizzie’s sister, Anne, and Ben’s band mate, Mal, had their way. Once Ben learns that Lizzie is pregnant, the two must learn to live with each other for the sake of their child, whether that is together or apart has yet to be determined. There’s no denying their attraction, but is that enough to keep them together since everyone is trying to keep them apart?
Scott’s humor shines through the drama and angst of an unintended pregnancy as Lizzie and Ben prepare to become parents. Deep was a fun, fast read, but as the last volume in the series I wish the author had given more closure to the group as a whole, not just the “happily ever after” of Lizzie and Ben’s story. Fans of the series will be pleased, however, I can’t help but feel as though there is just a bit more of the story to tell. While this is the fourth and final book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
