Deadbeat Druid is the third and final book of the Adam Binder novels. Written by David R. Slaton, this urban fantasy is much darker than his first two books. It is an exciting conclusion to the trilogy, but the book cannot stand on its own. The series makes the best sense when the books are read in order. The Denver author does a great job of keeping the integrity of the characters into this last chapter, even as they show growth. Actions taken at the beginning of this saga resolve themselves to the readers’ satisfaction. For anyone who enjoyed Slayton’s first two books, they will love Deadbeat Druid.
