Bug Bear
Bears are big and ferocious, but sometimes they get annoyed by small things, like a persistent bug. The little bug wants to live in bear’s hair, but bear is very annoyed at that thought. Bear seeks assistance from other forest animals. Wise old owl knows just the trick. He seeks out a less active place for bug to live. The story has a happy ending as the author proves that what isn’t to one’s taste may suit another individual very well indeed.
The illustrations by Carmen Saldana are very cute and engaging. The book is also big and beautiful, as is suitable for such a big theme. It’s great for a parent who would like a medium for teaching a valuable lesson about finding just the right spot to settle in and that not everyone will be a good fit for you. This is a good addition to a child’s library; the pictures are engaging, and it is easy to read.
