Adventures at Hound Hotel: Drooling Dudley

Alfie and Alfreeda Wolfe are back in another adventure at the Hound Hotel. This time, Alfie learns a valuable lesson about messes when he gets to help care for an English Bulldog for the first time. Dudley is a stout, little bulldog with an endless supply of drool. Alfie’s mother warns him that it’s necessary to clean up Dudley’s drool puddles immediately so someone doesn’t slip on the floor and have an accident. However, Alfie isn’t a big fan of cleaning up his own messes, let alone someone else’s.

This is another cute story in the Adventures at Hound Hotel series. Each book gives great information about a specific dog breed and also provides an exciting little story just right for newly independent readers. Each book starts with an introduction to the characters and setting, followed by the story, and concludes with a brief list of information about the dog breed highlighted in the book. Overall, a cute choice for young animal-loving readers.
