A Good Day: A Gift of Gratitude

We rated this book:

To some A Good Day will be like a symphony on the barren slopes of Tibet, to others it will be like a sparkling double rainbow in the sky and to still others it will be more of a blip on the radar; it depends more upon your awareness and your sense of gratitude you hold for life.

The original ‘A Good Day,’ a 3.5 minute YouTube post, an original gratitude meditation by Benedictine monk Brother David Steindl-Rast and coordinated with music by Gary Malkin, received more than 4 million visitors. For many who viewed the piece, it became an inspiring, refreshing pause in their hectic day, reminding them to be grateful for being gifted the day and to live it being appreciative of its uniqueness. The book includes the back story of the recording, quotes from those who enjoy the YouTube posting and a DVD which includes the original YouTube posting plus two other inspiring pieces by Louie Schwartzberg, who provided the photography.

Whether you enjoy reading the book, or watching the DVD, A Good Day can take you to a place of peace within, centering you on your blessings.
