In this morning retreat Ginny Kubitz Moyer, an award-winning writer with a focus on Ignatian Spirituality, will guide us in using our senses to deepen our prayer lives and our relationship with God. Sharing personal stories, anecdotes and Scripture, Ginny will demonstrate how the five senses are a powerful, biblically-based means for us to encounter God, not only as we practice our faith, but also as we participate in the “messy splendor” of daily life.
We will take advantage of the breathtaking views and gardens of Lone Mountain, as well as the quiet majesty of the beautiful Del Santo Reading Room, to refuel our spiritual tanks. Women who have attended our retreats in the past say they felt like they‘ve taken an otherworldly vacation in just a few hours, all while staying in the city. This is an opportunity to get to know fellow parishioners, spend some quiet personal time with God, and engage your own five senses. If you have never been on a retreat, consider giving it a try Saturday morning, Oct. 28th. Treat yourself; you deserve it! This retreat will sell out, so please sign up early to make sure we have a spot for you.
