David Lagercrantz, Author of The Girl Who Lived Twice Book

In 2015 Lagencrantz, a Swedish author and journalist, published The Girl in the Spider’s Web, the first installment of his continuation of Stieg Larsson’s international bestselling “Millennium Trilogy.” It proved as popular as the original—Esquire named it one of the best thrillers of the year—and was followed by The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye. In the series’ sixth installment, Lisbeth Salander returns, continuing Lagercrantz’s acclaimed inheritance of Larsson’s iconic punk hacker protagonist, marked with all of the intricate plotting and chilling suspense readers have come to know from this cycle, and from Scandinavian noir as a whole.
