San Francisco Book Review
Our bi-monthly San Francisco Book Review magazine features about 150 book and game reviews covering nearly 40 genres of books. Inside each issue of SFBR is Another Universe, which is our Science Fiction & Fantasy, Sequential Art, and Games reviews.
Issues also have Feature Reviews, book-related articles, author interviews, and author podcast interviews. Because the magazine is an app, everything can be enjoyed right from inside the publication.*
December will be the last month that Sacramento Book Review is published — and it is FREE for December. Starting in January, we’ll be publishing San Francisco Book Review and breaking out the very popular Kids’ Book Review into its own magazine. Each will publish bi-monthly.
Below is a sample of what you’ll receive inside each issue:
Subscribers’ Automatic Renewal Feature
Your subscription will be automatically renewed unless you tell us to stop. Before the start of each renewal, you will be sent a reminder notice stating the term and rate then in effect. If you do nothing, your credit/debit card will be charged or you will be sent an invoice for your subscription. You may cancel at any time during subscription and receive a full refund for unmailed issues.

- We highly recommend that our magazines are enjoyed on a tablet. There are several features that only work as a magazine app. If you do not have a tablet and still want to subscribe, we offer a pdf version. A good many of the features do work in the PDF, but some do not (such as the video book trailer page — although you can watch the individual book trailers underneath the review), the scrolling cover, and interactive Table of Contents.
- The Kindle versions are currently in review with Amazon for consideration in moving them to their Kindle Newsstand, which is where they really should belong. For now, they live in the Amazon App Store.
- Each magazine publishes bi-monthly. If you want to receive a magazine every month, you’ll need to subscribe to BOTH San Francisco Book Review and Kids’ Book Review.
